Flower of the Month - Chrysanthemum

The name Chrysanthemum is derived from the Greek words, chrysos (gold) and anthos (flower) also known as "Mums". The flower occur in various forms, and can be daisy-like, decorative, pompons or buttons. The flower symbolism associated with the chrysanthemum is abundance, wealth, cheerfulness, optimism, truth (white), hope, rest and wonderful friendship, I love (red), slighted love (yellow).
