Day 15 - Romantic Getaway at Home

Create your own romantic getaway at home! Why not bring Paris (or somewhere else of your chose) to your living room or rooms. Create your own passport, have Paris inspired decorations (you can find some inexpensive decorations at your local craft or dollar store or create your own) and don’t forget the right foods.  Have an afternoon/evening in Paris… You set the scene, the mood… An afternoon at the spa; set up an area and you give your own body, foot massages to each other… Set up a scene inspired by one of Paris’s cafés for lunch. Or have a romantic dinner for two, have French food(s), French wine or champagne, French music or soft music playing... Have a romantic poem recited!  Don’t forget the flowers… or you can do both! Have a nice milk bath ready for them when they get off from work.  Have some soft scented candles (vanilla is good) throughout the bathroom and his/her favorite bottle of wine… Ladies, if he doesn’t drink wine, I’m sure you can substitute it for a beer!!

Day 13 - SMS your Love

Send your love a Good Morning or Afternoon text message or both.   It could be funny, romantic, sweet, motivational or inspirational.  They even have cute mobile apps you can design (text cutie, textgram, etc.) Just make it personal from you to them.  Good way to start the morning and/or brighten their afternoon!  Just another way to let them know, they are being thought of.  Hello is it you, I’ve been waiting for!!! :)

Day 12 - Message in a Bottle

I truly love this idea! Send your love a message in a bottle (be it work or home) Purchase a bottle (they sale glass bottles at craft or dollar stores or get a water bottle)  If using a water bottle clean it out, take the paper off.  You can decorate it if you want!  Right a message or poem on parchment paper or get some off white, ecru colored paper burn the edges a little to give a look as if it’s been missing for a while… Roll it up like a scroll put a ribbon or raffia on it and put in the bottle.  To decorate the bottle a little you can put a little sand, pebbles or some hearts on the inside and tie a paper heart to the outside of the bottle...  Now your message in the bottle is ready to be sent! Here is one I've done before!

Write a poem from the heart and frame it! You can do just the poem or you have a two-sided frame and put a picture of you or the both of you on the other side... All you need is a computer, some nice paper and frame! Very inexpensive but very thoughtful! I did this sometime ago and they loved it!

Valentine's Day is about a month away and it's one of my favorite holidays. I'm a romantic at heart...   I love hearts, the color red and showing that special someone how much they mean to me!  It's all about LOVE...
