Thanksgiving

Well time is closing in on us… The holidays are approaching quickly! We have exactly one more week before Thanksgiving Day and the “official” day of the holiday season. Have you finished your shopping for your family dinner, or are you visiting a friend or relative in or out of state? What are your plans for this Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays we celebrate outside of Christmas, Easter and the 4th of July. Thanksgiving is spent with family and friends enjoying each other’s company over a huge dinner, with all kinds of great foods from stuffed and fried turkeys to mexican cornbread to the sweet smelling aroma of grandma’s apple pies, peach cobblers and sweet potato pies… But, Thanksgiving is the time to give thanks and praise to God for his many blessings and mercies that he has given us thus far! We shouldn’t just celebrate on Thanksgiving, but every day we awake and breathe God’s air! What are you grateful for?
